The past couple of years have seen repeated demands for justice and accountability in the deaths of unarmed Black men at the hands of the police, and in the case of Trayvon Martin those intended to protect us. Time and time again it seems that Black lives just don¹t matter. While equal justice and protection is a right, is equal treatment under the law really possible?
