A veteran of numerous successful technology start-ups, Ralph A. Clark brings 30 years of corporate, financial and organizational leadership to his position as ShotSpotter President and Chief Executive Officer. Ralph led ShotSpotter through an initial public offering (IPO) on NASDAQ in 2017 and is responsible for expanding the technology to more than 85 cities nationwide.
Prior to ShotSpotter, Clark was CEO of GuardianEdge Technologies Inc., where he led the transformation of the company into a leader in endpoint data protection and acquisition by Symantec. He also served as vice president of finance for Adaptec through its acquisition of Snap Appliance. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch and, prior to business school, worked at IBM.
Clark holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of the Pacific and a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.
